For week 3, go to this USGS site (click here) and select Latest Earthquakes.

Complete the following in your weekly post.

1. List the date, time, location (city, country) and magnitude of an earthquake experienced since June 1 outside of the United States.   Do not simply copy from the link, put into your own words.

2. Identify the plates and plate movement causing the quake.  For this you will need to examine pgs. 8-9 in the Goode’s World Atlas. 

3.  Based on this information, identify which type of fault [see ch 12 (10th ed)] is associated with this region
